The library started with about 700 books donated by Yoko Wiles. Our library is supported by Japan Commerce Association of Washington, D.C. Foundation, Inc. Free lending service of more than 12,000 Japanese books. We have many children’s picture books, manga, weekly or monthly- magazines and DVDs.Library volunteers are always welcome. Please visit our libraries!
**VA & MD libraries are temporarily suspending accepting book donations while we organize our storage space.
**We would like to inform you about the handling of donated books from the Care Fund library.The books donated will be used as part of the library's collection at Care Fund Library and will also be sold as second-hand books at the library and various fundraising events. Additionally, there may be cases where books are given to users free of charge. Please leave the handling of donations to the library. We appreciate your understanding.

Story Time
Storytimes are held in person at our libraries. This program introduces young children to books, games and other fun activities in Japanese.
** No Story Time for July and August at both libraries.
VA library: 10:10 am to 10:50 am on the first Tuesday of the month
MD library: 11:15 am～12:00 pm on the second Wednesday of the month
